• Boone Testing accepts Amerihealth Caritas Medicaid and Vaya Medicaid. We also accept Blue Cross & Blue Shield and Aetna.  

  • We do not accept United Healthcare.

  • We will no longer be accepting the following Medicaid payers: Wellcare, Healthy Blue, and United UHC Community.

• The standard out-of-network fee for evaluation is $200/hour for the initial session, testing administration, scoring, interpretation, written summary, feedback session, and consultation with your pertinent professionals and significant others. A comprehensive assessment usually totals between 12-16 billable hours.

• A one-time testing administrative fee of $250 is charged for all psychological testing cases. This is non-refundable if testing is administered and it cannot be billed to insurance. This fee covers the significant costs associated with testing that aren’t covered by insurance.
  
  

• Dr. Rice conducts juvenile and adult capacity to proceed evaluations, parental capacity evaluations, and other court-ordered psychological evaluations for courts, county DSS agencies, and retained counsel. He will work under county DSS contracts, as well as privately retained referrals. Contact the office to discuss a case, confirm availability, and request a fee schedule.

• We work very hard to make psychological testing affordable by working with insurance companies. We have found success in billing insurance companies for psychological testing. As with any medical appointment, you are responsible for your deductible and copays.

  • Please note that if your insurance company requires a pre-authorization, we will try to help. However, we have found that insurance companies make it very difficult to get pre-authorization.
